White Oak Plantation was built on 22 lush, green acres in the heart of Baton Rouge. Inspired by Houmas House Plantation, the main house, surrounded by 16 magnificent Doric plaster columns and 16” thick solid masonry walls, gives the traditional old fortress appearance that was so popular in the 1800s. Just as travelers did in the 1800s, guests take a step back into the past and enjoy the experience of the OldDeep South as they arrive on the property.
